A Colorado woman is facing widespread online criticism after a viral video appeared to show her emptying shelves at a local farmstand. In the clip, she is allegedly seen taking several packages of oatmeal cream pies and multiple loaves of organic sourdough bread. The footage, widely shared across social media, quickly drew backlash from viewers, many of whom accused her of stealing from a small local business.
The clip comes by way of Gone Astray Goods, a small TikTok channel that typically posts content related to its farmstand and small-business operations, including baked goods, organic products, and day-to-day footage from the stand, as well as security camera clips of incidents on the property. The video has since made its way to Reddit, where it began circulating more widely.
In the video, an image of the Colorado woman appears with on-screen text describing her as the “Oatmeal Cream Pie Bandit.” The clip then transitions to security footage showing the same woman quickly grabbing multiple oatmeal cream pies and loaves of bread from the unmanned farmstand before placing them into her bag. According to the caption in the video, the owner of the farmstand had allegedly placed the items for sale just “5 minutes” prior.
In the second part of the footage, another lady approaches the woman from behind, and asks her, “How are you?” What is being said in the clip is sped up and difficult to make out, but the Colorado woman appears to pat her back pockets as if checking for her wallet. She then walks back toward her SUV and can be heard saying, “I’ll be right back,” which ends the video.

This woman was caught on surveillance stealing from my stand. We already have identifying information on her, but I’m hoping to connect with other businesses — large or small — who may have experienced similar theft involving the same person.
At this point, I’m trying to determine whether this is part of a larger pattern and build an aggregate case if applicable.

Social Media Reacts to the Viral Farmstand Video
The video quickly gained traction online, where many social media users criticized the woman’s alleged actions and expressed sympathy for the small business behind the farmstand. On Reddit, some users discussed updates allegedly shared by the bakery owners, with one commenter writing, “The bakery is Gone Astray Goods and they say that the police caught the culprit. The bakery owner was able to get video of the Range Rover’s license plate when the lady came back a second time, on a different day, and attempted to steal all the stuff again.”
Others reacted more broadly to the incident and the location where it allegedly occurred, with another person adding, “Omgg. I used to work events, and the ones that would be in Loveland were the ones I hated the most. Just a town full of grumpy, grouchy, mean, stuck up old people. Worst crowd ever. So This adds up. Glad that the bakery owner was at least able to catch the license plate.”
On TikTok, many users also condemned the alleged theft and voiced support for the farmstand owners. One netizen penned, “This is so wrong! So glad you caught her and will be contacting the police,” while another reacted to the amount of products allegedly taken, writing, “it’s such a ridiculous amount 😳.“
The viral clip has continued to fuel debate online, with many viewers expressing frustration over the alleged theft and sympathy for small businesses that rely on community trust to operate unmanned farm stands. While one Reddit commenter claimed the woman was later identified and arrested by police, those reports do not appear to have been independently verified at this time.
