The amount of shamelessness some people will display just for views and clout on TikTok is absurd, especially when it gets to the point of costing them their real-life job. Yet, special snowflakes of individuals still do so, with the latest offenders being a group of healthcare workers at the Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara, California. Specifically, those in the gynaecology ward thought that it would be the funniest thing to shame their female patients by posting their vaginal discharges on TikTok.
Saying that the bodily fluids are “sweet gifts” from the patients that come in “all shapes and sizes,” multiple licensed healthcare workers went full unprofessional mode to show how much of a scumbag they could be for laughs and giggles. Unfortunately for them, no one on social media was laughing. The backlash got so bad, in fact, that the Sansum Clinic has been allegedly deleting negative comments and reviews from its social media accounts as a damage control measure.
The Sansum Healthcare Workers Are Under Investigation for Their Inappropriate Post
According to Edhat, the clinic even issued a public statement saying that the “staff shown or associated with the content are part of the investigation” into disciplining the healthcare clout seekers. The statement also claims that the person who posted the TikTok is a former employee, which is odd to begin with. Whatever the case, the internet is not going to let the clinic avoid accountability that easily while putting the healthcare clowns on full blast.
“Every single one of these people deserves to be fired and never work in healthcare again,” angrily remarks a Redditor. “The fact that it’s women doing this to other women is abhorrent,” adds another. “This is so unprofessional and gross! Why would anyone think this is a good idea!?” exclaims a third. “Who in their right mind thought this was funny????” agreed a fourth.
In short, everyone thought this was a horrible idea, and the Sansum healthcare workers who didn’t probably lost or will lose their jobs as a result. Even if justice is served, damage has still been unfortunately done to nurses’ and other medical assistants’ reputations. Now, many people will second-guess going into an exam, wondering whether the medical staff will shame them behind their backs. Truly shameful.
