According to her, the city had recently filled a pothole on her street with loose stones, and she believes that is where the projectile came from. Reddit user Many_Engineering2143 shared the incident on r/mildlyinfuriating, posting photos of her shattered window, the pothole outside her home, and the rock she believed caused the damage. “All I was thinking was, what if it hit my 5-year-old?!” she wrote, clearly shaken. However, many commenters were skeptical of her account, arguing that the rock likely came from somewhere else—or that the hole in the window may not have been caused by a rock at all.
