In Georgia, a McDonald’s drive-thru turned chaotic after an irate customer was filmed attempting to climb through the service window while yelling at employees. The cause of the confrontation remains unclear, although some online commenters have speculated that it may have stemmed from a dispute over change. The video has since been spreading rapidly across social media.

In footage that has since been shared on Reddit, a female customer wearing what appears to be a blue bathrobe and black-and-white sneakers is seen standing in the drive-thru window as stunned McDonald’s employees look on. While the woman shouts at the workers, a friend desperately attempts to de-escalate the situation, trying to help her safely down from the drive-thru window ledge. It is difficult to make out exactly what the woman is yelling, but her friend can be heard saying, “Sweetie, come on. Come on. Come on, bruh.”

An employee is then seen quickly sliding the drive-thru window shut and securing it tightly to prevent the woman from trying to enter the restaurant again. Off camera, a vehicle honks loudly, seemingly in response to the chaotic scene, before the video abruptly ends.

As the video circulated online, social media users reacted with a mix of shock, humor, and disbelief. On Instagram, one user commented, “So glad I was raised right,” while another wrote, “Going to jail for $6.83 is diabolical work.” Someone else chimed in with, “Another reason to avoid the greater ATL metro area.” Meanwhile, on Reddit, one commenter summed up the reaction simply: “That is wild, man.”

From what we can gather, no one was injured during the commotion, and it remains unclear whether police were called to the scene. However, one thing is certain: this is no way to behave over something as trivial as a dispute about change.
