Washington TikToker Blisa Belle Claims Dad Got HIV on Purpose as Fetish: ‘He Thinks That It’s Hot’

All our lives, we typically try our best not to get sick, especially since staying healthy prolongs our time here on Earth. However, you might be disturbed, if not disgusted, to discover that there are people who want to get sick. And I don’t mean becoming ill as a means to avoid school or work, but purposefully contracting a disease for fun, or worse, a fetish. That’s exactly what Washington-based TikToker Blisa Belle claims her dad did.

So I just learned what bug chasing is

Belle’s dad is what she refers to as a “bug chaser,” someone who contracts illnesses for pleasure, and in her dad’s case, it was HIV. She explains in a video how he would try to desensitize her family when she was younger to the concept of people with AIDS. The influencer didn’t realize this until later, when she received notice that her father was in the hospital, extremely sick with HIV. The awful and disturbing bit was that this was all intentionally done because “he thinks that it’s hot.” Very gross.

Not only did he want to take this sickening path, but he wanted to get Blisa Belle and her family involved, too. Unfortunately for him, she says that she hates him and wants nothing to do with his despicable fetish. And who could blame her? Plenty of Reddit users also feel disgusted for even knowing people like the TikToker’s father exist. “If you can imagine it, someone somewhere is into it. Unfortunately,” remarks a Redditor. “Gross father also wanted to spread that disease to his kids. What the hell drives someone to think that?” said another. One commenter remarks how his brother died of AIDS, and many others agreed that spreading the illness is a cruel and sick joke.

Since her initial video about her bug-chasing dad has blown up online, Blisa Belle has since pinned an update post on TikTok. She explains that the reason she doesn’t try to hurt her horrible father or send him to prison is that he pays for her mortgage. The comments are filled with nothing but overwhelming support and encouragement for the TikToker. “Yeah girl wishing you nothing but healing,” says one user. “i hope you set up a go fund me to get your own place and some therapy!!! you deserve it,” remarks another.

While there might be little hope left for her mentally and physically ill father, at least she and her family have plenty of supporters backing them up to live out a much better life than the one she grew up with.
