Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly seeking to recover hundreds of thousands of dollars from the estate of her late manager and longtime confidante, Sophia Hutchins, according to newly surfaced legal filings.
Rather than centering solely on the headline-grabbing dollar figure, the dispute sheds light on the close financial relationship Jenner and Hutchins allegedly maintained before Hutchins’ death in 2025.
RadarOnline reports Jenner filed legal papers in March claiming Hutchins owed her more than $430,000 at the time of her death. The filing reportedly outlines a series of expenses Jenner says she covered on Hutchins’ behalf, including cash advances, credit card charges and shared legal costs.
Hutchins, who managed many of Jenner’s business affairs and public appearances for years, died in July 2025 following an ATV crash near Jenner’s California property. Authorities reportedly ruled the incident an accident.
According to the outlet, Jenner’s petition claims the alleged debt included more than $280,000 in purchases made using her credit and debit cards beginning in late 2024. The filing reportedly references spending tied to items and services including antiques, landscaping, Shopify and eBay purchases.
The legal action also allegedly seeks reimbursement for interest accrued on the charges, as well as more than $133,000 tied to legal fees the pair incurred while sharing representation in a separate lawsuit.
Another notable aspect of the filing involves Apple. Jenner is reportedly requesting access to Hutchins’ Apple ID and related account information, arguing the materials may contain work-related records connected to ongoing business matters.
The move highlights how intertwined Jenner and Hutchins’ professional relationship had become over the years. Hutchins first entered Jenner’s orbit publicly in 2017 and eventually took on a prominent role managing business operations and media opportunities.
Neither Jenner nor representatives for Hutchins’ estate have publicly commented on the reported filing.
The case is still ongoing.
