A recent incident at a Papa John’s location on North State Line Avenue in Texarkana, Texas has drawn attention after an employee was filmed refusing to replace a customer’s pizza. The customer had complained about finding hair in her order, but the employee not only declined to offer a replacement — he also threatened to ban her from the store. According to the woman, she and her family are regular customers, typically ordering from that location at least once a week.
According to the woman, she initially contacted the restaurant after finding hair in her pizza. She said she was told at the time there would be no problem replacing the order. So trusting that assurance, she arranged for her husband to pick up the replacement on a later visit.
When her husband arrived at the restaurant, however, the man featured in the video, whom the woman identified as the manager, reportedly refused to hand over the replacement pizza. Instead, he allegedly told her husband that he would not give them “any free pizza.”
Manager Refused to Discuss the Complaint
The woman, confused by the new development, went to the store herself to speak with the employee directly. She reportedly brought a photo of the original pizza showing the hair, as well as proof of the earlier phone call she had made to the restaurant. Despite this, the employee still declined to replace the order or address the issue.
In the video shared on TikTok, the employee can be heard telling the woman that he did not want to discuss the matter and that she could not force him into a “non-consensual conversation.” He then instructed her to leave the store.
The woman attempted to reason with him, but when he continued to dismiss her concerns, she asked for the contact information of a district manager or corporate office so she could file a complaint. The employee refused to provide that information and told her to find it online instead. He also warned that he could ban her from the location entirely.

After the woman shared the video online, viewers expressed outrage over how the situation was handled and criticized the employee’s attitude toward the customer. One person wrote, “That is totally unacceptable.” Another advised, “Sis, spend your money elsewhere.” A third commenter added, “A misunderstanding is understandable, but not providing corporate info and threatening to ban a customer is suspicious.”
The Texas woman has claimed that the manager’s response amounted to racial profiling, as she is Black and the employee in the video appears to be white. While she expressed that belief based on her experience, the video itself does not contain explicit statements or actions that independently confirm racial motivation.
